Forward About Us What is Forward? Forward is our High School ministry here at Grace Point Church. Why the name Forward? God is always in the business of moving us forward in our relationship with him and as Christians we are called to live a faith that ought to be forward foucused, to be unashamed to share about him and serve others for Him. We believe with God’s grace and power we can move forward to further God's Kingdom Forward vision verse: Philippians 3:12-14 "I don't mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection! But I keep working toward that day when I will finally be all that Christ Jesus saved me for and wants me to be. No, dear brothers and sisters, I am still not all I should be, but I am focusing all my energies on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I strain to reach the end of the race and receive the prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us up to heaven." Vision Grace Point Student Ministries exists to: Reach students with Christ’s love, Connect students to the body of Christ, Help students Discover who they are in Christ, Guide students toward maturity as disciples of Christ, and Equip students build up the body and reach their world for Christ. Values We value relationships in our student ministries at Grace Point we want to have a vibrant thriving relationship with God through Jesus Christ. We want our leaders to have solid relationships with one another, with students, and with student’s parents. We want students to have accountable healthy relationships with other students and their own parents. We also want our church family to have a great relationship with our student ministries. Grace Point Student Ministry Staff We deepely value our staff and volunteers here in Grace Point Student Ministries. Ministry is made possible through the leaders and volunteers doing God's will. We have so much fun together as a team and family. Some of us are goofy. Some of us are loud. Some of us are quiet. Some of us are normal. Some of us are not-close-to-normal...but we all realize that we have different gifts to give, that make Grace Point Student Ministries an amazing family to belong too. Pastor of Student Ministries Jason and Angelina Hardy w/ son Caleb Jason Hardy is the Student Ministries Pastor here at Grace Point Church. He and his wife Angelina, love working with youth and enjoy serving God and His kingdom together. Jason graduated from San Diego Christian College with a bachelor degree in Biblical Studies with an emphasis in youth ministry. Angelina graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University with a bachelor degree in Piano Performance, and currently teaches piano lessons. Jason loves to surf, spend time in the outdoors and seeing kids fall in love with Jesus. They have recently added a new edition to their family, their son Caleb who they absolutely love and adore!!
