Our children are challenged to live out their faith on a daily basis by passionate and well-equipped teams of volunteer leaders. The staff and servant leaders possess a vision for impacting children and create an energetic environment that attracts members of our congregation and families of our community.

AWANA Registration Open – The 2011-12 AWANA session will begin on September 14th.   AWANA is a great ministry that teaches children about Jesus Christ and the importance of Scripture memorization.  AWANA is an acronym for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed” taken from 2 Timothy 2:15.   At AWANA, the kids play games, hear a Bible lesson and meet in small groups where they work through their handbooks.  AWANA will meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-7:30pm beginning September 14th.  All 3 year olds through 4th graders are welcome and registration is required.

•     Please stop by the AWANA registration table in the courtyard or the church office.  Last year, we had to put children on a waiting list – so please sign-up early.

 

 

AWANA Volunteers Needed – It takes dozens of volunteers to run our AWANA program.  If you are interested in being a group leader, please contact Derek at derek@gracepointsd.com.
