I was born in San Marcos and have lived in North County San Diego my whole life, moving between San Marcos, Vista, and now Escondido. I grew up at a small family church of about 150 and came through the youth group all the way through my high school graduation. When I was a Sophomore in High School, my worship leader taught me how to play guitar over a short span of time and asked me to take over as he was leaving to work at another church. I jumped into it head first and never looked back. At 17, I began leading a small group of 8 Jr Higher guys and knew that I had to invest into students in the way that I was invested in, and it’s all I’ve wanted to do since. I seek to press deeper into Christ and lead others to do the same, through teaching, discipling, worship, and whatever else is needed. I believe that putting ourselves second to others is the best way to show Christ to this world.

Tacos, Hot Dogs, or Pizza. It all depends on availability. Being in Escondido helps a lot with the taco cravings.
A Favorite Bible Verse:
“And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me’ ”
Something Still on Bucket List:
Go to Cuba and spend an extended time immersed in the culture
Also, I would love to attend a big wrestling show in Japan
